APEX Ramp and stair installation for a double door entry on a modular building

An Upside Innovation modular customer needed an ADA/IBC compliant ramp and step for their modular complex and the APEX system had the flexibility to work perfectly. The modular building was set lower than typical for a modular building, but using an 18" APEX step along with and 18' switchback ramp access was gained for the customer. With both a ramp and a step connecting to the same threshold platform, the Upside team used (3) 5'4" x 6' platforms combined to make one 16' x 6' platform that had the switchback ramp start off one of the 6' sides and the step riser attached to the middle of the long platform side.
