Wheelchair ramp for a modular building in Florence, KY

wheelchair ramp

This APEX Ramp system was installed at a modular sales office in Florence, KY

A 38' ADA/IBC compliant switchback ramp was installed with a 5'4" x 5'4" threshold platform for this modular building application for use as a sales office at a new residential neighborhood. A benefit of the APEX system is the flexibility of the parts and pieces. Initially the plan was to have this switchback ramp configured where the starter ramp would land half on the new asphalt and half off. When the customer decided that they did not want that, we were able to reconfigure the product and have the ramp land 4' further back by switching out where the 8' ramp section was installed. The product worked perfectly, the customer was happy, and the original parts and pieces were able to be used despite this little on the fly change.
