Our journey began 15 years ago, driven by a personal story of making a difference. Kevin Sharp, Upside’s founder, was inspired by his polio-disabled grandfather, who struggled daily with accessing everyday places. This personal experience sparked a vision to create something better—a vision that would lead to the founding of Upside Innovations in 2009.

Upside Innovations started in a modest garage with a simple yet ambitious dream: to build a better aluminum ramp system. Kevin and his team saw a gap in the market—a need for high-quality ramps that not only met ADA standards but also provided exceptional customer service.
