Custom OSHA crossover step for rooftop ladder access

H.T. Lyons needed a step to get employees at an industrial facility safe access over a rooftop pipe and up to a maintenance ladder and Upside delivered. The Upside Innovations engineering team custom designed a step to fit the exact site need, avoiding a pipe while keeping the platform just underneath the existing ladder.

Our APEX Crossover Stairs are prefabricated and ready to install. Industrial-grade aluminum components bolt together to create infinite configurations, eliminating custom fabrication, welding, and time-consuming engineering, while reducing costs, installation time, and complexity.

Because the system is modular, the metal crossover stairs can be reused or reconfigured as your needs change. Our team of engineers will design a stair configuration layout just for you, and professional engineer stamps are available. Our platform legs have 8” of adjustability for uneven ground or ongoing adjustments.

The entire line of APEX products will never rust, warp, or rot, so they are low maintenance and will last much longer than wood or steel.
