The end-user required OSHA-compliant stairs to the go from the ground up to the roof. Once the stairs reached the roof, they wanted the stairs to crossover the raised ledge and land on the lower level.
The wall was roughly 27′ tall, so we designed a stair tower to reach the top of the wall and crossover it with a 3″ clearance. The steps then turned to the right and landed on the roof, giving maintenance employees safe access to the roof.
