Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey
We designed and manufactured a 50-foot ADA ramp for a university in New Jersey. It was powder-coated black to match the existing stairs and to prolong the life of the product.
The customer wanted the ramp to be a certain direction, but didn’t want it to extend too far past the edge of the building. That’s why we designed the ramp to first move away from the front edge of the building and then switchback and land about 10′ past the front edge of the building. If we had designed a straight ramp, it would have extended about 35′ feet past the edge.
