We designed a custom solution for this multi-story modular school building – they required a stair and ramp system to reach the first and second floor while providing an ADA ramp down to the ground.

The first floor door was 7′-0″ off the ground while the second floor door was 12′-4″ directly above the first floor door. We designed a switchback stairtower with two switch-backs to hit the door heights and stay within the edges of the building.

The ADA L-Ramp was 60′ long, and it attached to the platform on the first floor. As the ramp sloped down, the ground sloped up, so we supplied shorter ramp legs to accommodate the slope.
