The general contractor responsible for all renovations of Ayer Shirley High School in Massachusetts turned to Upside Innovations when they were required to add a second story emergency exit during the renovation process. Upside designed a second story step that tied into the lower level ramp. Due to the Massachusetts building code requirements the ramp system included code required wheelchair rails at 18″ above the walking surface.
In addition, installation was performed by two Upside Innovations installers within a tight time-frame. All of our work needed to be done before construction began on a new overhead canopy was set to be erected. Upside was able to stay on track and delivered within the needed schedule.
