Climbing APEX Wheelchair Access Ramp Install for H&S Bakery

APEX Wheelchair Ramp for Large Food Distributor MD

This complex APEX ramp system provided ADA / IBC compliant access into an existing commercial bakery facility within an urban district in Baltimore, MD

Needing to access a 73" finished floor elevation within a tight urban location made this APEX ramp system installation complex but not too much of a challenge for our modular ramp system. Using only standard parts and pieces the Upside Innovations engineering and installation team was able to craft a solution that included a triple switchback ramp with an 'L' turn at the bottom to fit the need. The site required our team to avoid an existing telephone pole along with other buildings to get down to grade.

A commercial bakery company is using the existing facility and could easily roll their lightweight carts into the facility with the APEX ramp system after the concrete contractor poured concrete up to the bottom of the ramp.
